About Me

Hello, friend! My name is Lindsey, but my friends and family have called me "Lyns" for as long as I can remember. Hence the name, "Thru The Lyns!" I am happyily married to my High School Sweetheart, and together, we have brought five beautiful babies into this world, with one additional, sweet soul in Heaven.

I'm a coffee addict, a red lipstick lover, a devotee of all things photography, and a quilting junky. I have lived in Middle Tennessee my entire life, and am always on the lookout for a new adventure! On the Enneagram I am a 2w3, and I fit firmly into that Helper/Hostess box... would you like some cookies?

I love Jesus with all that I am, and decided to become a professional photographer after surviving a near fatal car accident in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Priorities in life come sharply into focus after breaking two vertebrae, your sternum, and your ribs. Faith grows, and fear quietly takes a back seat.

A year after that accident I launched Thru The Lyns, and I haven't looked back! I am so contented by photographing love, laughter, and the connections people have to one another. I very much hope to not only capture your family and your memories, but form lasting friendships from our time together.
